Transient Shelter

The transient shelter is designed for a freelance street painter who has an unstable income.

Site

The site is located near to Telok Ayer MRT station and beside Thian Hock Keng Temple.

Design

I have allocated 3 cubes for the work space, 2 cubes for rest and 3 cubes for the ablution. I have placed the work space closest to the road and bedroom being lifted up by 0.5m at the semi private area and ablution being sunken down by 0.5m at the private area. The maximum height from the ground is 3.5m and minimum height from the ground is 2.5m.
