Contrast between Modern and traditional buildings at Chinatown

The area of Chinatown is dominated by reflective glass prim offices that contributes to the silence and peacefulness one faces when they come. Dressed sharply, people of all walks of life are seen entering and exiting the buildings at a fast pace. The shadow created by the sunlight that casted on the tall buildings, similar and repetitive buildings across the street makes me feel the peaceful and calming atmosphere of Chinatown.

As I walk further into Chinatown, it feels as if I have entered a different place. The type of feelings I have is totally different. The pastel colours of the shophouses are no higher than three stories. Many people are walking along the Pagoda street, casually dressed. They are either with their family or with their friends. Their pace slows when they walk pass these structures to admire its beauty and majesty. It is very crowded, creating a bustling environment. This makes me feel warm from the vibrant Chinatown and at awe while viewing the olden architectures.
